Honda VFR800 F.I. DeLink Hose Kit HEL Performance Braided Lines

it is designed to delete the linked brake system on the  Honda VFR800 F.I. as these bikes are now aging, any brake system faults can cost more than the bike is worth to repair, so I have been asked to put this kit together as an option for owners.

The replacement hoses use race setup style, which is 2 hoses bolted to the mastercylinder (with the supplied double length banjo bolt) going straight down to the calipers, with a tee to utilise the extra caliper pistons and a single line from the rear mastercylinder to the rear caliper with a link line to connect the extra piston. the kit contains all necessary stainless banjo bolts (and copper washers) to fit the hoses.

The secondary mastercylinder on the left fork leg is disabled by removing the piston and replacing it with the supplied stainless steel lock off adapter, this allows the caliper mounting bracket to remain in a fixed position, instead of moving under braking, and doesn’t look any different to the untrained eye.

you may need to upgrade to a larger bore mastercylinder as you will get excessive lever travel by adding the extra pistons into the system (I’m told the VTR1000 mastercylinder is a good option) but this is down to personal feel
